Applying for support.

We do not accept open applications from individuals. Places on each programme are identified through the clinics, schools and community committees we already work with, so that support reaches the households that need it most rather than those best able to fill in a form.

  1. Speak to your community committee

Every community we work in has one. The clinic or school will tell you who chairs it.

  2. A home visit

One of our field staff visits, together with a committee member. Nothing is decided in that visit.

  3. The committee decides

Places are agreed by the committee, not by our office in Accra, and the decision is read out at the community meeting.

If you work for a clinic, school or district assembly in a community where we do not yet operate, write to us. We open one new district at a time and we keep a list.

GH₵600 keeps one girl in school for a term.

Regular gifts are what let us promise a mother that we will still be here next year.
